They are used by building users for orientation in an emergency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"\u00dcbersetzung\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The goals of escape and rescue route plans are, on the one hand, to save people and animals in the event of a fire, as well as to enable effective extinguishing work. On the other hand, they serve to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"\u00dcbersetzung\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The requirement for escape and rescue plans results, among other things, from the workplace ordinance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"\u00dcbersetzung\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Accordingly, they are required \u201cif the location, extent and type of use of the workplace so require\u201d. The display is usually in the form of a floor plan.
